By enlarging a photograph, graphic designer Cristian Zuzanaga played up its pixels’ 26 brillian hues to create this hand-knotted wool rug for Spanish rug company Nanimarquina.
Consider it a digital cornucopia of colour.

Love the outdoors but stuck indoors?
After seeing a charred tree trunk on Lake Cachuma in California, Floor to Heaven creative art director Michaela Schleypen tuned the mental image into a sculpted wool rug with natural colour variations.

There seems to be no end to the application of the LED.
Esti Barnes‘ British company Top Floor has launched the Liminoso range of carpets which incorporates LED technology to dramatic effect.
As one would hope, Liminoso’s LEDs are hardwearing and low on energy useage, which makes them perfect for large-scale contact installations.
