Belgian-based designer Alain Berteau’s Swing desk lamp is so ridiculously simple it’s surprising that no one has tried it before.
It’s made from aluminum and uses an LED light source, but the lightweight design is certainly not reflected in the price.
Somehow, we struggle to justify spending $500 for something so simple.

Australian design duo Nicholas Karlovasitis and Sarah Gibson have designed an answer to the overwhelming conumdrum of discarded plastic bags.
The Weblight incorporates 70% recycled material. Each light is unique as the forming process creates unique and highly detailed patterns of texturesand holes.
