Australian design duo Nicholas Karlovasitis and Sarah Gibson have designed an answer to the overwhelming conumdrum of discarded plastic bags.
The Weblight incorporates 70% recycled material. Each light is unique as the forming process creates unique and highly detailed patterns of texturesand holes.

Lee Stewart’s The Other ‘Alf Lamp is a true stunner.
Bisected right through the middle for versitility, the owner can position the two halves to create interesting focal points.
The lamp loses no points for construction either — it’s made from turned timber finished with high glass lacquer and a shade of silk!

South Korean designer Sung-ho Lee’s Lighting Pin is a rather innovative little object with a slew of uses.
It is most effective for holding paperwork together and at the same time lighting up the page.
Shaped as a clothespin, the playful design makes it easy to attach to ordinary objects including bags, photos and magazines.

Two flat plates of lacquered aluminum — available in white or brown stripes — carefully fold around a bulb in Foscarini’s Flat light.
Designed by Marco Zito, the simple sconce is almost invisible when turned off, and the shadow it casts when lit give depth and character.

Design team Big Game hooked up with snooker ball maker Tamawa to make this lamp.
Sure, they weren’t bashful about the blatant reference, but somehow it works!

Images of autumn are instantly evoked by the Fall Lamp’s floating shapes of copper mesh.
When illuminated by the LED down-lighting, whimsical shadows are cast by the pantina on the leaves.
Though organic in form, designer Georgia Scott’s eye-catching lamp employs handicraft and industrial techniques.
