Designer Raffaele Darra’s latest design for Italian clockmaker Diamantini & Domeniconi frees the cuckoo from its ornate birdhouse.
The finish is merely PVC-printed paper and gloss lacquer but the effect is fun yet contemporary.
Featuring an unnumbered face, the little white bird’s chirp can even be switched off. Though we’d never dare break with tradition.
